Hi, I'm Maddie...

I found yoga at the end of 2019 when I was heavily over-exercising and under-eating. I dipped in and out of the practice, not really seeing it as “worth it” compared to my other forms of exercise that got me hot and sweaty.

 

In 2021 I had a breakdown and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I quit my job and felt like the years I had spent getting my degrees were suddenly pointless, until I found myself gravitating more and more to my mat.

 

I now have a mental peace I couldn’t even have imagined possible. Slowing down, connecting the movement to the breath, getting in touch with my inner landscape and detaching it from my true self has all happened after years of consistent practice, but snippets of this inner peace can be found from your first flow…
